How Creator onboarding works

• Commitery Creator is currently prepared for independent businesses established in Germany.
• A Creator must be at least 18 and comply with Commitery terms, Stripe requirements, tax rules, and programme abuse controls.
• Commitery can refuse, restrict, or suspend Creator access if the account is not eligible or creates risk.

Stripe Connect is the hosted payout-account setup. Stripe asks for the identity, business, and bank information needed to operate a connected account. Commitery stores the connected account ID and readiness status, but Stripe controls the onboarding form, verification requests, and payout restrictions.

• If Stripe says more information is required, the payout account is not fully ready.
• If Stripe disables or restricts payouts, monthly payout batches can be delayed or cancelled.
• Stripe setup alone is not enough. Commitery billing setup is still required.

• Commitery needs the Creator's legal name and German business address for payout documents.
• You confirm that you act as a business and accept self-billing documents, meaning Commitery can issue a Gutschrift in your name for monthly payout batches.
• You select the tax treatment used for payout documents, such as German small-business treatment or standard German VAT treatment.
• Standard VAT Creators must provide a VAT ID that can be validated. Small-business Creators must provide the required tax details for the Gutschrift.

• Not set up: no connected payout account or required onboarding is incomplete.
• Stripe needs information: the connected account exists but cannot receive payouts yet.
• Billing details required: Stripe may be ready, but Commitery cannot issue compliant payout documents yet.
• Ready: Stripe payouts are enabled and Commitery billing details are complete enough to submit eligible monthly payout batches.
