Creator terms
This page summarizes the operational rules for the Commitery Creator program. The legal Creator Terms remain controlling.
These docs explain the product in plain language. The Creator Terms, Payment Terms, and other legal documents control if there is a conflict.
Eligibility
- Creators must be at least 18, use the program as an independent business, complete Stripe Connect onboarding, and complete Commitery billing details.
- Commitery can restrict, suspend, or refuse Creator access where eligibility, risk, compliance, or Stripe requirements are not met.
- During the current launch phase, the program is documented for businesses established in Germany. Expansion to other countries can require different tax, payout, disclosure, and consumer-protection handling.
- The full legal terms are available at Commitery Creator Terms.
Disclosure and conduct
- Creators must clearly disclose that they may receive a Creator upside payout when promoting Commitery or a challenge.
- Self-referrals, fake accounts, fake commitments, coordinated refunds or chargebacks, misleading promotion, and attempts to exploit payout timing are prohibited.
- Commitery can withhold, reverse, offset, or request repayment of amounts tied to prohibited conduct or later payment reversals.
- Creators must not present Commitery as betting, gambling, insurance, a prize system, or a guaranteed way to earn money.
No guaranteed income
Creator participation does not guarantee income. An allocation becomes payable only if all eligibility, payment, risk, dispute, withdrawal, refund, Stripe, and documentation conditions are satisfied.
