Email notifications
Commitery sends transactional emails for commitment, dispute, charge, Creator attribution, and payout events.
These docs explain the product in plain language. The Creator Terms, Payment Terms, and other legal documents control if there is a conflict.
Customer emails
- Commitment confirmation, including the active commitment link, withdrawal information, and legal links.
- Failed verdict proposal and product dispute information.
- Dispute decision and charge result emails. Successful charges include the customer invoice.
- Routine-cycle emails when a new routine commitment cycle becomes active.
Creator emails
- Creator enrollment or onboarding completion.
- Referral attribution established after a successful checkout through a Creator context.
- New Creator allocation after an attributed failed commitment is successfully charged.
- Allocation reversal, payout submitted, payout paid, payout failed, payout canceled, and payout document availability.
Maintenance and webhooks
Some emails are triggered by scheduled maintenance jobs and some by Stripe webhooks. Commitery stores event state to avoid sending the same operational email repeatedly.
